We are happy to announce the creation of the TON Memecoin Working Group - an association of independent Contributors that will develop and execute a strategy for growing the memecoin narrative in the TON ecosystem with the support of TON Foundation. Among the goals of the Group are increasing the trading volume of meme-coins on TON, growing the number of DEX traders, growing the number of meme-coins launched, supporting the launch of successful memecoin cases (with $100M+ MC) and ensuring that TON becomes a new memecoin hub.
To achieve these aims, the Working Group will be leading and facilitating marketing and business development efforts, the creation of new analytics and trading tools and the design of relevant incentive programs.
While performing their duties, Contributors may reach out to teams and individuals with proposals and initiatives using the Telegram and/or Twitter profiles provided below.

Here are our takes about current situation with TON and memecoins:
First of all, we were unpleasantly surprised that TON Society for some reason censored our project and our efforts while we were trying to get some support at one of the hackathons. How can a world famous meme be censored for some far-fetched reason, especially in web 3? We still don’t get it and we want more clarification from you guys.
The meme culture is very weak while TON supports Tap 2 Earn. From our point of view, this will lead to nowhere because users of tap applications will not stay in the ecosystem thus money will flow out from TON. Take a look at Solana, their meme market is in a full swing. It is not that hard to make something similar and this is our general idea - support meme coins and they will create the liquidity loop in the ecosystem. Thus metrics of blockchain will increase rapidly, liquidity will rise and users will get more opportunities longterm.
Is it that hard to integrate TON blockchain into one of the biggest DEX aggregators? Seriously, you have so much resources and you can bring at least 1inch. Why haven’t this done yet?
DEX trackers such Dexscreener or Dextools have poor interacation with TON blockchain and it’s a shame. We locked our liquidity long time ago. But trackers don’t show this and MarketCap either.
Conclusion: It is really hard to be a memecoin on TON in current conditions. We are facing so much hate everyday and we don’t get any support from TON, but on the contrary, TON Society prevents us to rise.
