The DeFi League is designed to create a fruitful environment for early-stage TON DeFi protocols (<$5M in TVL and <$50M in monthly volume) that contribute to growing the TVL of and Volume on TON blockchain.
The DeFi League design is based on two squads: TVL Squad and Volume Squad.
Projects of the Squads are ranked in the leaderboard based on their contribution to the total TVL/Volume generated during the season (by all users, regardless of whether they participate in The Open League New Year airdrop).
The exact methodology for tracking the metrics of each protocol can be found on this Github page.
Eligibility criteria to join the DeFi League shall be as follows:
- Stable Version on Mainnet: A functional, stable version of the project must be live on the mainnet.
- Metrics Requirements: Total TVL must be less than $5 million, and Monthly Volume - less than $50 million.
- DefiLlama Integration: The project must be integrated with DefiLlama for tracking. If the team faces problems with implementing the integration, they can reach out to @league_manager on Telegram for support.
- Protocol Code Access: Applicants must be open to provide access to the protocol’s code for verification purposes.
- Full Design Description: Readiness to provide a full and detailed description of how the protocol is designed.
- Active Community: An active Telegram community with at least 500 members.
- Explicit Mention of The Open League: A clear mention of The Open League within the DeFi product (mini app / web app), along with an invitation for users to mint a DeFi Badge on the TON Society website and start using the protocol to farm airdrop points (to me done by the time of the season start)
- Additional User Rewards: Provision of user incentives from the project’s side, such as off-chain points or on-chain assets.
- No “DeFi League Graduate” Status: The following projects are not eligible for participation as they have previously won the DeFi League and thus graduated from the program with honours: STON.fi, DeDust, Evaa, Storm, Tradoor, Hipo, Tonstakers, Bemo.
Please ensure that all eligibility criteria are met at the time of the season start.
Application Process:
Candidates apply on TONResearch portal by creating a new topic in this category. Only fully completed and detailed applications will be reviewed. If the presented metrics turn out to be fake afterwards, the project will be permanently disqualified from TOL. The more metrics provided, the better. The absence of any necessary information in the application will lead to its automatic rejection.
Smart Contract Tracking: To add new smart contracts for tracking mid-season, use this GitHub repository. Additional contract submissions close four days before the season’s end.
Rules of Conduct: All applicants agree to follow The Open League Rules of Conduct. Any violations will result in immediate and indefinite exclusion.
Please note that inclusion in the leaderboard is not guaranteed from day one. Successful submission does not ensure immediate placement on the leaderboard.
Application Deadline: Applications for the current season close on November 22, 23:59 UTC.
