The DeFi League is designed to create a fruitful environment for early-stage TON protocols that contribute to growing the TVL and Volume on TON blockchain.
The DeFi League design is based on two squads: TVL Squad and Volume Squad.
Full rules and information on the prize pool of the League are available on the official website.
As a general rule, the participants of the previous season are whitelisted to join the next season. That said, ahead of the start of every season, projects need to check the current eligibility criteria on their own (since those can be subject to change) and make sure they continue to comply with the entry requirements. Failure to comply by the start of the season will lead to an automatic removal from the League. Other projects that are not yet part of the League can apply to join.
Eligibility criteria to join the DeFi League shall be as follows:
- A stable version of the project must be live on the mainnet.
- A working frontend or mini app.
- Total TVL <$5M, Monthly Volume <$50M
- Integration with DefiLlama
- Readiness to provide access to the protocol’s code for verification.
- An active TG community of at least 500 members
Please ensure that all eligibility criteria are met at the time of submitting your application
Candidates apply on TONResearch portal by creating a new topic in this category. Only fully completed and detailed applications will be reviewed. If the presented metrics turn out to be fake afterwards, the project will be permanently disqualified from TOL. The more metrics provided, the better. The absence of any necessary information in the application will lead to its automatic rejection.
To add new smart contracts for tracking during the season (on top of those provided in the application form), the participants should use this Github repo. The submission of additional smart contracts closes 4 days before the end of the season.
Upon successful submission, teams should wait for The Open League Committee to process their applications and respond with a decision.
Teams applying to join the League commit to strictly following The Open League Rules of Conduct. In case of the violation of those, they will be immediately and indefinitely excluded from the competition.
Please note that inclusion in the leaderboard is not guaranteed from day one. Successful submission does not ensure immediate placement on the leaderboard.
Applications for the current season close on September 8, 23:59 UTC. Projects that do not apply by this date are welcome to submit for the next season.
