The App League welcomes Decentralised Applications (DApps) built on TON, including games, launchpads, NFT marketplaces and other relevant products.
From Season 6 onwards, participants of the App League are ranked in the leaderboard based on the wallet score (”Normie score”) of their users. This approach is designed to encourage teams to onboard their users into a larger TON ecosystem. Full rules and information on the prize pool are available on the official website.
As a general rule, the participants of the previous season are whitelisted to join the next season. That said, ahead of the start of every season, projects need to check the current eligibility criteria on their own (since those can be subject to change) and make sure they continue to comply with the entry requirements. Failure to comply by the start of the season will lead to an automatic removal from the League.
Other projects that are not yet part of the League can apply to join.
The list of eligibility criteria is as follows:
- On-chain activity in the app (not necessarily with the project’s own token - the transfer of any asset on TON network is acceptable);
- MAU > 10k, connected wallets > 1k;
- [for Telegram Mini Apps] Integration of SDK for tracking off-chain events (mini app start) and on-chain events (wallet connection, transactions). To successfully complete the integration, please first update to TON Connect 3.0.2, available here.
- A clear mention inside the app about the project’s participation in the League (LINK) and a Call to Action for users to take part in different activities to get an airdrop. It should be visible in the interface and can be done in any form: quest / task / button / banner.
Having a Telegram Mini App is highly recommended. We suggest submitting your listing request to @tapps_bot, which will serve as an important entry and discovery point for users.
Please ensure that all eligibility criteria are met at the time of submitting your application.
Candidates apply on TONResearch by creating a new topic in this category. Only fully completed and detailed applications with the proofs of the declared traction will be reviewed. If the presented metrics turn out fake afterwards, the project will be permanently disqualified from TOL. The more metrics are provided, the better. The absence of any necessary information in the application will lead to its automatic rejection.
Upon the successful submission, the teams should wait for The Open League Committee to process their applications and get back with the decision…
It is essential for projects to provide their MAU and Connected Wallets statistics; please ensure these metrics are included in your application. If you have confidential data, please provide the link and grant access to the following emails: [email protected]
To add new smart contracts for tracking during the season (on top of those provided in the application form), the participants should use this Github repo. The submission of additional smart contracts closes 4 days before the end of the season.
Teams applying to join the League commit to strictly following The Open League Rules of Conduct. In case of the violation of those, they will be immediately and indefinitely excluded from the competition.
Please note that inclusion in the leaderboard is not guaranteed from day one. Successful submission does not ensure immediate placement on the leaderboard.
Applications for the current season close on September 8, 23:59 UTC.
